How to buy from Southern Corporate Packers
SCP supplies retail chains, wholesalers and foodservice distributors across the United States and Canada. Here is what we can do, how orders work, and how to get set up.
Capabilities
What we can do
Truckload volume
SCP sells by the truckload and ships over 10,000 orders a year. Mixed and match pallets can be built across commodities on a single load.
Full pack range
Bins, cartons, bushels and half bushels, count packs, DRC and returnable containers, the standard pack types used across the wholesale market.
Private label
Product ships under the Yum Yum label or is packed to customer specification. Talk to sales about label and pack requirements.
Grower-direct supply
Much of what SCP ships comes off its own farms across eleven growing regions, so the supply chain between field and load is short and accountable.
Cold chain
Product is cooled immediately after harvest and held through packing and transit to protect shelf life.
U.S. and Canada
SCP supplies major chain stores in both countries. The Cambridge, Ontario cross-dock handles Canadian distribution.

Freight & logistics
Loads move on our own dispatch
Transportation is handled in-house rather than farmed out, which means one company is accountable for the load from the field to your dock. The dispatch team coordinates outbound freight, delivery windows and appointment scheduling.
For Canadian customers, the Cambridge, Ontario cross-dock consolidates and redistributes loads, shortening the last leg into Canadian retail.
