Our story
Where SCP started
Southern Corporate Packers is about bringing customers the best in fruits and vegetables. The company has been at it for over 40 years with a simple mission: get top-quality produce to the table.
The story began in Ontario, Canada, where founder Brian Arrigo started an adventure that would reshape how produce moved through the eastern deal. It started with watermelons. Today SCP grows and ships a full line of fruits and vegetables across eleven growing regions.
There have been hard years, Hurricane Wilma among them, but every one of them made the operation more resilient. Through all of it the company has stayed committed to delivering the best, building partnerships that last decades, and making the food on the table a little better.

Brian Arrigo founded Southern Corporate Packers and still serves as President and CEO. Members of the Arrigo family work across sales and food safety, and most of the leadership team has been with the company for years.
That matters commercially, not sentimentally: when a load has a problem, the person who can fix it answers the phone.
